Softball Interschool

On wensday we softball Interschool our fist round was agians Ruapotaka School we won. The next school we face was Point england School they won the game. After we face agians Glendale School and we won agian then lost all the other ones.Thank you Mr Shaun, Mr Alipait Oscar's parents Alex's parents and Mr ogilivie for taking us all over to the Interschool and training us for softball before the Interschool.

On thruseday we got told how Ki O Rahi was made it is when they play a game to bring peace.

Te Tiriti O Waitangi

As remembrance of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi, My group has made a D.L.O of the treaty. We had to read a journal about the Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We had to write a summary and Vocab for each part of the story. There were 3 parts in the story. For Vocab we had to find 2 words for which part we read. We had to find the synonym and Antonym of the word.

Explanation Sketchnote

This week we worked in pairs for writing and we created this digital sketch note about Explanation Writing. We used information that we already knew and then we shared ideas as a class. We need to remember when writing an explanation that we have a Title, Introduction, 3 paragraphs for the information and a conclusion. We should use formal language and write in present tense We need to remember to structure our sentences and use time order so our information makes sense .I worked with Nevaeh on this task.
